School trips

All staff at Baring strongly believe in the value of ‘Outdoor Education’ that can bring alive topics that are being taught in school. Every year group goes out on a range of educational visits, at least once every half term.

The visits are selected to support a range of learning opportunities that enrich the curriculum. We follow the Lewisham guidelines for outdoor education and do a thorough risk assessment of the journey there, and back, and of the location itself.

Information about school trips are notified in the termly class letters and other newsletters.  Parents will be notified about trips via a letter usually 2 weeks before it is due to take place.  The trip will be put onto Parent Pay and payment taken via your account.  You can also tick to give consent for your child to attend.
