Head teacher | Mrs. Caroline Phillips
Baring is a friendly school, with an exciting and varied curriculum.
Our curriculum is exciting, varied and relevant to the children. We like to go on trips and often bring visitors into school to support the children’s learning by bringing learning to life. We also enjoy learning outdoors through our 'Forest School' curriculum which takes place in our local park. We have 11 values (one for each month - except August) Communication, Honesty, Respect, Friendship, Perseverance, Empathy, Courage, Forgiveness, Responsibility, Kindness and Confidence. We learn about these in our assemblies and in class discussions.
Baring Primary School serves a relatively small area immediately adjacent to the school. The children and parents of Baring are from many different countries and speak over 42 different languages. This helps to make our school a special place where we value our similarities and differences and enjoy learning from each other. We aim to work closely with all members of our school community to ensure that our children get the most out of their time with us.
If you are visiting our website as an existing member of the Baring community, a prospective parent or just out of interest, we hope, through this website, you will gain a picture of all the fun and varied opportunities that the children experience in their daily learning.
Please don't hesitate to contact me or any member of staff for more information or to make an appointment to come and visit us.
