PSHE - Personal Social and Health Education & Citizenship

This area of the curriculum aims to provide pupils with the knowledge, skills and
understanding to lead happy and healthy lifestyles. This is delivered through the
use of the resources that are quality assured and recommended by The PSHE Association. Children are encouraged to make
informed choices, positive relationships and respect the diversity of our local community.
The school focuses on the Restorative Justice approach which includes older children
training to become “peer mediators”. Drug Education is part of this syllabus as is Sex
Education.
