Art 

 At Baring, Art is a subject area that we celebrate and enjoy across the school.

We offer an a curriculum where we celebrate the diversity which children of different cultures bring to our school.  Art lessons give children a much-needed chance to express their ideas, build on their observational skills, gain confidence, promote feelings of self-worth and develop their creativity and imaginations.

We provide children with the opportunity to learn about artists of different cultures, times and genders including painters, sculptors, architects and animators.

Each year the whole school takes part in the 'Take One Picture' project run by the National Gallery for the past two years.  We've been lucky enough to have had our work chosen to be displayed in the National Gallery itself.
